Deckstatic Productions is the home of composer Jason Asnes,  his compositions have appeared in many independent films including “Horns & Halos”, “Indian Cowboy”, “Battle for Brooklyn”, and others.

  He was born and raised in Austin, Tx before moving to Brooklyn, NY.  Jason has written, performed, recorded, and produced music under several names:

DJ Angola, Dex Lark, Mine Field Mind, Davcar, etc. and also in many live groups:

Nice Strong Arm, Swans, Alkaline, Saturnine, etc.  He also co-wrote and performed in the band Crown Heights who released their debut album on Rick Rubin’s American Recordings.

    As a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter, he brings his knowledge of a wide variety of musical styles and genres to every project that he approaches. 

  Deckstatic Productions has a vast catalogue of many types of tracks that can be accessed by specific genre. We also can produce compositions upon request in a timely fashion.
